This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of satisfaction of employees in selected manufacturing company. Theoretical part of this diploma defines basic concepts and factors of satisfaction of employees based on literary research which then proceeds to the main practical part – quantitative survey research. Proposal part of this diploma thesis comes from results of analysis in the practical part with a purpose to make recomandations and to improve current situation in selected manufacturing enterprise.

The role of selected companies in work-life balance of employees, focusing on the concept of corporate social responsibility

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the role of selected companies in the area of work-life balance of employees, with a focus on the concept of corporate social responsibility. The issue of reconciliation both parts of life has recently become a topic that attracts more and more attention as there has been an incresed number of people facing struggles in this area. Therefore, in the first part of the thesis the topic of work-life balance was put into social context, subsequently into the context of public and social policy and finally also to the concept of corporate social responsibility which represents a framework through which the work-life balance issue is viewed. There are lots of actors influencing one's possibilities regarding reconciliation of work and personal life, however, employers are one of the most significant ones. Optimisation of the medical examination process in Foxconn

The main aim of this study is to describe and compare the process of medical examination in selected divisions of the Foxconn company on the basis of my personal working experience. The goal is to obtain comprehensive knowledge of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the medical examination procedure and to present a suitable optimisation of the process. The theoretical part of the study elaborates on the expert knowledge focusing on personnel management development, particular personnel processes, benefits for employees with the emphasis on medical examinations and international employment. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first part describes the company Foxconn and its selected divisions. The second part contains the medical examination outcomes, a research consisting of the medical check-up monitoring and SWOT analysis of the individual processes, a proposal for process optimisation including software installation, costs, staffing and training courses. A description of research methodology is also included. In order to achieve the aim of this study qualitative methods of collecting data were used. Monitoring the whole process of medical examinations was carried out by methods of observation and half-structured dialogues with human resources officers.
Human resources management in a medium-sized company

The purpose of the diploma thesis is the analysis of the human resource management in the selected medium-sized company and on the basis of the acquired results suggest the arrangements for improvement of this system. For research purposes of the thesis was selected a midsize company MOTOR JIKOV Fostron plc, operating in the engineering and foundry industries. The thesis is divided into literary and analytical part. Literary part is based on information related to the management of human resources, characteristics of midsize enterprises, personnel work and personal activities within midsize companies and it is based on domestic and foreign literary sources. The analytical part deals with analysis of selected personnel activities in the company MOTOR JIKOV Fostron plc and proposing more effective function in these areas. The obtained information allow to suggest the arrangements for improvement of this system.
Accounting and tax aspects of employee benefits

The thesis is dedicated to the exploration and analysis of the implementation of employee benefits such as the types of benefits provided by employers to employees according to Czech accounting and tax regulations. In the theoretical part deals with the topic of employee motivation at the work and describes the best known motivational theories. It tries to highlight the interconnections of social policy, evaluation and remuneration system with the level of employee satisfaction and its impact on the quality of work performance. Employee benefits are a modern tool of personnel policy to reward, motivate and satisfy employees. From the other side, they could be considered as a legal tool to reduce the tax liability of the employer. The main focus in this work is devoted on accounting and tax system, which is displayed on a selected group of benefits with illustrative examples. The practical part is focused on the exploration of application of employee benefits in the specific company and on the basis of their analysis assesses their impact on job satisfaction. Based on the information is quality of employee benefit system in the company assessed and at the end of the thesis brings some possible recommendations for improving.
Analysis of care for employees in the Company VEBA a. s.

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is to analyse the system of care for employees in the company VEBA a. s., to identify strengths, and possibly the weaknesses of the applied system, and to propose appropriate measures to solve the identified problems. The theoretical part represents the basis for achieving the set objectives and it introduces the description of components of employee care. In the practical part there are the findings from the theoretical part applied at the mentioned company. Subsequently, the results of the comparison of employee benefits are presented as well as the results of the employee satisfaction survey. Finally, the outputs of an interview with the Personnel Director of the company are introduced.

This bachelors thesis deals with care for the employees. The first part focuses on theoretical description of activities dealing with this area and some related legal rules. The second practical part describes and evalutes execution of these activities in the company Lázně Poděbrady and contains proposals for improvement. Results of the employees' satisfaction with working environment survey are presented at the end.
